We went for a bike ride down to the beach and found this old tire stuck in the sand. It was filled with hundreds of hermit crabs. They were trapped in the inside curve of the tire as the tide went out. Eventually they would die from exposure. We saved them of course and took the tire away to the dump. Keep PEI beaches beautiful.
